Lovely service and great food. Varnika who took care of my family of 9 conducted a pleasant evening for us. I ordered the butter chicken and highly recommend their cheese and garlic naan. The dessert mango kalufi was very refreshing, my favourite new try of the evening. Indian lounge is a 10/10 for me. Thank you Varnika.

The Indian Lounge Mt Eden is a real gem! Despite the cold, rainy night, the restaurant was incredibly warm and cozy. We were a group of 10 with all generations represented, and everyone loved the food. It was absolutely delicious, and the staff were super friendly and hospitable. Off-street parking was a huge bonus. We'll definitely be back!

Everything i drive pass this restaurant will see pack of customers at the premises, made me wonder if this is a good Indian retardant. Tonight we felt Indian cuisine so drove straight to “Indian Lounge Mt Eden”…..not surprise!!!!! You are great!!! Good flavour Refreshing Pani Puri!!! Surprisingly good Samosa!!! And really great lamb korma on flavour and spice. Really great atmosphere Fantastic staffs Highly recommend to all.

Best Indian food I’ve had in Auckland! The curry was bursting with flavor, and the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. The layers of seasoning truly stood out compared to other Indian restaurants. The service was outstanding—when we asked for less salt, the waitress made sure our request was clearly communicated to the kitchen. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. I couldn’t be happier with my meal tonight and will definitely be coming back again.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is convenient, and parking on the road was manageable. The restaurant had around 7 to 8 families dining at the time, and the space was well-maintained. However, the tables for four felt a bit small. The staff was highly professional and attentive. We ordered both starters and the main course together. The starters—Pickled Paneer Tikka and Tandoori Soya Chaap—arrived within a few minutes. Both were delicious, though the portion sizes were smaller than expected. The main course took a bit longer to be served, and I had to follow up on it. For the main course, we had Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Lasoon Palak Paneer, and Malai Kofta. The food was authentic and flavorful, and we all enjoyed it. While the menu options are somewhat limited, the quality of food and service made up for it. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and we will definitely visit again.

We had our first dinner at this Indian restaurant and were genuinely impressed by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Mini, who looked after us throughout the evening. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our family feel right at home. Mini went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time — her food recommendations were spot on, and each dish she suggested was absolutely delicious. It’s clear that customer service and hospitality are taken seriously here. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was full of authentic flavour. We left feeling happy, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!

We went to Indian Lounge and had Lamb Biriyani, Punjabi Goat Curry with Butter and Garlic Naan. All of them had a unique taste and very delicious - one of the very best places for Indian food!! Will visit again The place atmosphere is also nice and very spacious.
